Mars Area Middle School is celebrating Read Across America Week, Feb. 27-March 3, with the following theme days:
- Monday, Feb. 27 — “Fox in Socks” Day — Students may wear a crazy socks to school.
- Tuesday, Feb. 28 — “If I Ran the Zoo” Day — Students may wear animal print clothing.
- Wednesday, March 1 — “Wacky Wednesday” — Students may wear mismatched clothes.
- Thursday, March 2 — “The Cat in the Hat” Day — Student may wear red (eighth grade) and white (seventh grade).
- Friday, March 3 — “The Sleep Book” Day — Students may wear pajamas to school.
