Mars Area School District is listed as 10th among local public school districts, according to the 2019 Honor Roll rankings published by the Pittsburgh Business Times on May 7.

In addition, the District ranked 32nd among statewide public districts and earned an average 15-year (2005-2019) rank of 19.27.

All Pittsburgh Business Times rankings are based on Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA) scores for students in Grades 3-8 and PSSA and Keystone Exam scores for 11th-graders.
