Parking for Aug. 23 Home Football Game Available at High School, Centennial School ONLY

As construction on the Mars Area Middle School Renovation Project continues, the school’s parking lot will be closed to the public during the Fightin’ Planets home football game against the West Mifflin Titans on Friday, Aug. 23, at Mars Athletic Complex.

Therefore, GENERAL FOOTBALL GAME PARKING will ONLY be available at Mars Area High School and Mars Area Centennial School, where SHUTTLE BUSES to and from Mars Athletic Complex will be provided from 6:15 to 10:15 p.m.

Game attendees are encouraged to use the provided shuttle buses and to refrain from walking to Mars Athletic Complex from the designated parking areas, as the added game day traffic on the already busy roadways surrounding the stadium may present a hazard. Shuttle buses will drop-off/pick-up game attendees at the stadium’s main entrance, which will be open during the game. The stadium’s Davidson Road Gate will also remain open.

HANDICAPPED PARKING will be made available at Mars Athletic Complex. Signs will be posted in all appropriate areas.

Also of note, TICKETS for all Fightin’ Planets home games are available for purchase online at www.eventbrite.com/o/mars-high-school-14412431722. Tickets purchased online are $3 for students or $6 for adults. (Additional fees may apply.) Tickets sold at the gate will be $3 for students or $6 for adults.
