Mars Area High School is ranked 13th among Pittsburgh Metro Area High Schools, according to a recent list of the “Best High Schools,” published by U.S News & World Report.

In addition, Mars Area High School is ranked 55th among Pennsylvania high schools and 1,611th in the nation. The school received an overall score of 90.97, with a graduation rate of 98 percent; an Advanced Placement (AP) participation rate of 48 percent; and demonstrated student proficiency in reading (92 percent), mathematics (81 percent) and science (88 percent).
