Mars Area School District will be temporarily closing two (2) access road to better ensure the safety of those students, who will be participating this week's Mars Area Elementary PTO's "March for Mars" Walkathon events. 

The access road, connecting the Mars Area School District Administration Office and Mars Area Primary Center cafeteria entrance parking lots to Mars Area Elementary School, as well as the rear parking lot behind the Administration Office will be CLOSED from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2, and from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4.

Officer Edward Brooks Drive, the access road connecting Route 228 to the Mars Area Centennial School campus, will be CLOSED from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3. 

Please note that these temporary closures may affect the route(s) that some parent(s)/guardian(s) take for midday kindergarten pick-up/drop-off; and/or when picking up students with an early release or at the end of the school day.
