On Wednesday, Aug. 21, Mars Area School District received an anonymous tip of a threat involving Mars Area High School.

District administrators, working in cooperation with Middlesex Township Police, have investigated this threat, which police officials have determined to be "non-credible." Please note that, at this time, there is no imminent threat to the health and safety of the student body and/or staff members at Mars Area High School or at any other District buildings.

If and when any additional information becomes available, the District will communicate that information appropriately.
