Mars Area School Board voted to adopt the Mars Area School District Calendar for the 2025-2026 School Year.

The calendar sets the first day of school on Thursday, Aug. 21. Fall Parent/Teacher Conferences will be offered for Grades K-12 on Monday, Nov. 10 (In-Service Day), and for Grades K-6 on Tuesday, Nov. 11 (Act 80 Day).

Thanksgiving Break will be held Wednesday, Nov. 26, through Monday, Dec. 1. An In-Service Day will be held on Friday, Dec. 19, and Winter Break will be Monday, Dec. 22, through Friday, Jan. 2.

Spring Parent/Teacher Conferences will be offered for Grades K-6 only on Thursday, March 19 (In-Service Day), and a Vacation Day is scheduled on Friday, March 20. Spring Break will be held Thursday, April 2, through Monday, April 6.

Mars Area High School’s Senior Prom is scheduled on Friday, May 8 (Act 80 Day). The last day of school for students is set for Wednesday, June 3, and the Class of 2026 graduation ceremony on Thursday, June 4.
